E-newspaper reader debuts

电子报阅读器问世(图)

Electronic paper reader, developed by UK-based Plastic Logic, is now operational. The portable lightweight plastic screen can be continually updated via a wireless link by storing and displaying hundreds of pages of newspapers, books and documents. It uses a highly legible black-and-white display developed by the E-Ink. The device is up for sale next year.(See photo)

日前，轻薄便携、内容不断更新的电子报纸阅读器由英国"塑料逻辑"公司研制问世。通过无线连接，阅读器可储存数百页报纸、书籍与文件的内容。其黑白显示器由"电子墨水"公司研发。此款电子报纸阅读器2009年将上市。(见图)
